Job description

A US-based company that is developing reliable software that will enable governments to work better is looking for a Software Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with ensuring that the infrastructure is efficient by conducting regular monitoring and maintenance sessions. The growth-oriented company’s applications handle the billing, collection, and distribution of taxes, as well as payment processing and online auctions of financial and legal instruments. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy building efficient solutions to pressing problems. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the ability to write robust, scalable code
  • Have a track record of enabling system’s success
  • Collaborate within a team environment to iterate solutions 
  • Work within a team to perform agile software development 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive experience in Perl, MySQL, Git, jQuery, Ajax, and Go
  • Prolific experience in Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS), Amazon Web Services, and Docker
  • Demonstrable experience using messaging frameworks (rabbitmq)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
