Job description

A US-based company on a mission to help employees shape their workplace experience by collaborating with facilities management is looking for a Software Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting and building new applications and features that will help boost the platform’s productivity. The company aims to help create safe, healthy, productive, and responsive workplaces where employees thrive. They have managed to securely raise $7.5mn+ in funding so far. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with others on the team to ship projects on time and meet deadlines
  • Improve the application, website performance, and responsiveness
  • Understand the workflow and create plans to meet goals
  • Create and deliver testable solutions for a variety of software processes
  • Participate in the weekly product development cycle by translating product requirements into functionality
  • Provide feedback on design documents
  • Identify potential areas for improvement and make recommendations for solutions
  • Build interactive web-based applications in collaboration with front-end developers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 4+ years of experience with REST/RESTful and Flask is required
  • 4+ years of experience working with Python and related technologies
  • Strong interpersonal and English communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and exceed expectations
