Job description

A fast-growing B2B SaaS company building an efficient platform to make it easier for businesses to easily find and buy motorbike products from the nearest source, is looking for a Software Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building and deploying features from end to end. The US-based company's robust platform enables users to source products locally and go through a comprehensive list of the best motorcycle retailers in the country and their inventory. This role requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality results by making significant contributions to fast-paced team projects that have a significant impact on business outcomes
  • Create and maintain back-end services for registration and authentication that will be used by web-based and/or mobile front-ends
  • Using modern cloud technology and industry best practices, create scalable systems to solve novel problems
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior management to translate our product and technical vision into a measurable technology roadmap
  • Connect to vendor APIs
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of the customers
  • Discuss and make architectural decisions
  • Take responsibility and ownership for the work

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 4+ years of experience with back-end development
  • 5+ years of experience with Typescript, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB
  • Knowledge of designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and applications is required
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL/DynamoDB database design, configuration, and usage is a must
  • Demonstrable projects where you’ve designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services
  • Knowledge of a service-oriented architecture is required
  • Experienced in working in Agile, Lean, Scrum, or Kanban teams is a must
  • Prior startup experience is nice to have
  • Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks is a plus
  • Implementing testing automation is nice to have
