The developer will be tasked with developing visually striking applications on their own while closely coordinating with UX/UI designers. The company supports musicians in cultivating and expanding their fan bases, producing incredible content, and establishing fulfilling, long-term careers. Job Responsibilities:

Create cutting-edge Shiny apps that are suitable for widespread use
Recognize and work around Shiny's and R's limits while using creative fixes to improve scalability and performance
Expand Shiny apps to support hundreds of users at once while maximizing front-end, back-end, and infrastructure performance
Integrate web components, JavaScript, and custom bindings to incorporate sophisticated functionality into Shiny apps
Unit, end-to-end, and performance testing should all be included in a well-balanced test pyramid to guarantee high-quality outputs

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
5+ years of experience developing websites or web applications, with an emphasis on R Shiny, JavaScript, or Python
Track record of building and scaling sophisticated Shiny apps
Applicants who are eager to learn but have less R Shiny experience are also welcome to apply
Proven ability to create aesthetically pleasing apps using input from UX/UI designers
Strong background in code quality improvement utilizing automated testing techniques such as unit testing
Proficient in speaking and writing in English
