Senior Software Engineer

A rapidly-growing company that has created a solution to aid with confidence and clarity in digital-first workplaces is looking for a Senior Back-End Software Engineer. The selected candidate will work with the machine learning engineers to collect requirements and deliver on a data platform and data infrastructure specifications. The company's system identifies user voices and videos in conferences and presentations and offers individualized comments and guidance. The company has managed to raise $4.5 mn in funding. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and deliver end-to-end features for the main engineering product, including frontend, backend, and system-level audio processing tasks
• Create a world-class DevOps culture that encompasses build automation, system testing, and site uptime
• Collaborate closely with design and product on features that delight users and drive growth through research, ideation, prototyping, and testing
• Cooperate with ML engineers to gather requirements and deliver on data platform and data infrastructure requirements
• Become a founding team member and help to shape the organization's culture

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Expertise in at least one of the backend or system infrastructure engineering
• Knowledge of engineering automation and infrastructure-as-code
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker)
• Experience in AWS or other cloud providers 
• Knowledge of DynamoDB, ECS, AppSync, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• Knowledge of DevOps is a plus
• Ability to deliver solutions to high-level problems and requirements 
• A systems thinker who can easily recognize patterns to develop frameworks and solutions to solve complex needs
• Proficiency in English
