Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing a leading mobile software to enhance workforce productivity and job site intelligence is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with highly-skilled professionals to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software solutions. The company's technology and modern practices help businesses to manage their organization in real time, giving them the tools, services, and solutions to improve workforce productivity. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with highly-skilled software professionals and face new and exciting challenges on a daily basis
  • Ability to perform regression testing, error or logic tests, or usability
  • Perform logic verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned projects 
  • Ability to support and interact with the customer base on software concerns or issues 
  • Participate in development meetings, including agile scrum, retrospective, and planning 
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for task management and team coordination 
  • Prepare technical step-by-step documentation of completed tests 
  • Work on multiple assigned projects and drive process improvement 
  • Perform manual testing to ensure software meets design requirements 
  • Uphold existing quality assurance standards and processes
  • Identify defects within software against standards 
  • Aware of business issues and their impact on project plans 
  • Exhibit communication and interpersonal skills 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Microsoft developer certification is strongly preferred 
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Development tools (.NET 4+, C#, MS SQL 2012/2014/2016, IIS 7/8/8.5/10) 
  • Demonstrable experience with Structured Query Languages, including Transact-SQL and SQL Lite 
  • Prior experience designing MS SQL Server databases to model real-world business processes and information is a plus 
  • Experience with .Net Winforms is required 
  • Prolific experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps is preferred 
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Repos and code management 
  • Experience with HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and related technologies is a plus 
  • Nice to have experience with REST, API creation in .NET, and SOAP 
  • Experience with Blazor is preferred 
  • Experience with Infragistics components/controls is a plus 
  • Nice to have experience with Construction Industry ERPs (i.e., Oracle JD Edwards, Sage 300, etc.) 
  • Organized and detail-orientated 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
