Job description

An NYSE-listed company that has managed to establish one of the largest online e-commerce marketplaces is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the conversion of business requirements into a strong, workable, and secure technical solution. The company provides clients worldwide with a broad selection of affordably priced products. The company has managed to secure more than $1.4 bn in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Build scalable software systems integrating with dynamic software systems
  • Optimize for short-term program execution and plan for long-term technical capabilities
  • Perform API integration and maintenance with multiple external services
  • Build highly available, software distributed systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience in Python and Go/Golang
  • Nice to have experience in AWS, Hadoop, and MongoDB
  • Experience in GraphQL is preferred 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
