Job description

An NYSE-listed company enabling individuals to convert complicated data into useful insights is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing the code quality through the creation of unit tests, job automation, and code reviews. The company is committed to accelerating digital transformation for the biggest businesses in the world and offers a hybrid data platform with safe data management. The company has raised $1bn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the data infrastructure software that is both strong and scalable
  • Develop services and system architecture for your projects
  • Contribute to and share feedback with other members of the team
  • Improve the code quality by developing unit tests, automating tasks, and conducting code reviews
  • Create and share ideas for our technology, algorithms, and products
  • Collaborate with the product, design, and customer success teams to identify end-user needs, develop use cases, and convert those into successful technological solutions
  • Dive into difficult technological difficulties and provide outcomes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of experience building software
  • Experience building distributed systems/databases
  • Knowledge of Node.js and Python
  • Familiarity with Cloud services like Amazon Web Services, Google Compute Platform, and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in Data Infrastructure and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in English
