Job description

A U.S.-based company granting businesses access to content, software, and data using tokens, NFTs, and blockchain identity is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of applying and teaching best practices in development processes to a cross-functional team when needed. The company offers businesses decentralized identity-based access control and encryption. The company has managed to raise more than $2mn during their Seed round of funding. This will be a full-time position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use agile practices in a team environment
  • Create high-performance data streams to ensure timely delivery
  • Continue to interact with new technologies in order to learn and grow your skills
  • Attend and participate in different weekly meetings 
  • Troubleshoot and offer solutions to product problems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Rust
  • Nice to have experience in JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of smart contracts
  • Passionate in building high-assurance systems
  • Ability to ship code in a timely manner
  • Proven track record of independently driving projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Nice to have experience writing Rust smart contracts on platforms like Cosmos/Solana
  • Experience working as part of a distributed team is preferred 
  • Nice to have experience building decentralized systems 
  • Prior experience in cryptography is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
