Job description

A U.S.-based company that is building an efficient and robust platform for developing and implementing APIs is looking for a Senior Back-End Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for pushing out products at a rapid pace while maintaining product quality. The company is delivering high productivity tools for developers that encourage collaboration. The company has managed to raise $400mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, build, and test new products that will have a global impact on millions of people
  • Contribute to the development of a visual programming language
  • Create functional prototypes and tools aimed at increasing developer productivity
  • Within a small, close-knit team, work closely with the product, design, and other engineering functions
  • Interact closely with the large Postman community and potentially make a huge impact with your work
  • Participate in a variety of internal and external open-source projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in JavaScript and Node.js
  • Knowledge of MySQL is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
