Job description

A leading Fintech company helping to make personal finance more approachable and accessible is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will take ownership of the infrastructure in AWS while maintaining and improving the build processes and pipelines using Strapi Headless CMS with Gatsby front-end. The company is composed of personal finance geeks with several years of combined experience in writing and publishing information on how individuals should manage money and credit. This role will require an overlap with the US Central Time Zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve system monitoring and stability
  • Build better developer tooling and support and help guide the team on architecture decisions 
  • Help improve the workflows and design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components
  • Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Node, Typescript, and Strappi CMS
  • Knowledge of Gatsby.js
  • Experience in AWS and Gatsby cloud
  • Solid security and servers experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
