Job description

A well-established OTT platform that is serving a diverse range of audiences in more than 15 languages worldwide, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for adding new features and improving the application's stability. The company is determined to deliver users an unmatchable experience with its industry-leading services and products. The company has successfully raised close to $224mn+ in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, remodel, and reinvent the mobile application to provide a high-performance system with an engaging user interface
  • Distribute key business modules while optimizing and modularizing code
  • Take charge of product quality from start to finish, from developing to maintaining core app frameworks that help make apps more reliable and enjoyable
  • Lead prototypes of new ideas and investigate new technologies at the cutting edge of mobile technology

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with iOS development 
  • Familiarity with UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch
  • Excellent Swift and Objective-C coding ability along with strong CS and OS fundamentals
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple, innovative solutions that serve the business needs
  • A knack for problem-solving and ability to work in ambiguity
  • Proficiency in English
