Job description

A US-based company that aims to supply liquidity to various disparate and competing financial markets is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with cross-functional teams on designs and implementations. The company is helping businesses and customers to embrace trading opportunities and technology in a modern marketplace. Job Responsibilities:

  • Join the interdisciplinary team in conceptualizing and authoring the technologies that power financial market trading activities
  • Work as part of a team and attempt to solve problems in programming, networking, technology, mathematics, and finance
  • Develop and enhance an ever-growing list of critical trading applications
  • Create code that is both clean and efficient

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have experience with C++ or C#
  • Experience in building complete, multi-threaded server-client applications is a must
  • The ability and willingness to take full ownership (design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, iterate) of projects is a must
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is a must
  • Knowledge of database and network technologies is nice to have
  • Comfortable resolving uncertainty and interacting to resolve issues
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a strong interest in the financial industry
  • Have a strong vision is to solve today's problems while also developing future solutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen eye for structure and detail
