A fast-paced technology company that is transforming the world of cashier-less shopping is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. As an engineer, you will apply your software engineering skills to design and develop clean, reusable APIs. The company is dedicated to unleashing a world of possibilities with AI-powered retail solutions such as contactless checkout that make shopping safer, faster, and more enjoyable. This will be a nice opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team to create customized autonomous shopping experiences and drive solutions from inception to production. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on developing performant web applications
  • Design clean and efficient data models and APIs for smart-retail applications
  • Build robust and intuitive user interfaces
  • Utilize software engineering skills for designing and developing clean and reusable APIs
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to drive solutions from inception to release

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer (Backend)
  • Should have at least 2 years of experience using TypeScript and Node.js for web applications backend development
  • Expertise in functional programming, unit testing, and working with Jest testing framework
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and REST API usage
  • Ability to work with Typescript/JavaScript backend frameworks and unit testing libraries
  • Thorough knowledge of working with React, CSS, and Docker
  • Well-versed data modeling, static typing, and SQL programming
