Job description

A US-based FinTech company that is revolutionizing the automotive industry with next-generation technology is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The developer will be working on projects specific to the company’s needs with opportunities to switch tasks as the candidate and the business grows and evolve. The company’s platform reliably handles information at scale, processes millions of dollars, and has completely altered the digital car ownership experience for millions of users. The company has secured funding worth $2 bn+ so far. This will be an exciting opportunity for developers to work with a well-established company making rapid progress in the industry. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable and flexible web experiences
  • Work across teams to plan new features and promote improvements
  • Help mentor and assist other engineers on the team
  • Deliver accurate info on project estimates and delivery time
  • Work with Engineering teams to build projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years software engineering experience
  • Hands-on skills in developing modern interactive web experiences with React, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Prior experience with a state management library (Redux, Mobx)
  • Proficient with API interfaces in JSON or GRPC
  • Experience working with version control through GitHub
  • Perform code reviews and give constructive feedback
  • Comfortable in a design-centric environment informed by user experience research and a/b testing
