Job description

A US-based company building a data knowledge graph SaaS product for data science teams is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be working with a previous Google vice president and building out the core tech stack and product. The candidate is expected to be well-versed in various front-end, back-end, and database technologies. This will be a full-time, long-term opportunity for those who would like to work across the stack to develop high-quality applications and rise quickly through the ranks. The job requires a time overlap with the Pacific Time.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create tooling as required to optimize workflows or processes
  • Implement strategies to grow the business, keeping in mind the long-term goals
  • Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
  • Clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, or organizational issues
  • Own the project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Familiarity with AWS/PostgreSQL
  • Must be proficient in Python, Typescript, and React/Redux
  • Experience in NLP, Transformer, and BERT is desirable
  • Fluency in English and effective communication skills
