Job description

A US-based company building a SaaS procurement platform that saves money and time for forward-thinking enterprises is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The developer will be working closely with the Head of Engineering and VP of Product to translate the product vision into features/services. Businesses can purchase software, track usage, manage contracts, and transform procurement into a competitive advantage due to the company's groundbreaking technology. They have secured $27 mn+ during their Series A funding round. Candidates who would like to join a well-funded company and grow rapidly are suitable for this position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a seamless and intuitive platform to be adopted by the world’s most sophisticated procurement professionals
  • Lay the foundation to scale the company’s core product further
  • Implement industry best practices in software development, including Unit testing, OO design, code reviews, etc.
  • Translate the product vision into features/services
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to build high quality, ship-ready solutions and products that delight users
  • Display leadership qualities with an ability to take ownership of technical projects and processes  
  • Help the company to transition the business from a tech-enabled service to a full software sourcing platform solution
  • Clearly document procedures, code, and regularly communicate with the management and technical support teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 - 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with React.js, Typescript, and Node.js
  • Nice to have some knowledge of PostgreSQL and GCP
  • Strong general problem-solving and logical reasoning ability
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • Good communication skills and efficient team player
  • Can function effectively without frequent hand-holding and micromanagement
