Job description

A revolutionary Fintech company dedicated to providing an effective solution to money laundering, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building the next generation compliance stack with the goal of detecting and exposing money laundering quickly. The company harnesses years of investigative experience and combines it with cutting-edge technology to prevent illicit funding that propels crime, corruption and war. The candidate will be given the opportunity to tackle interesting problems like handling interrelated data in a low-latency manner. This role requires 6 hours of time overlap with EST.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ingest and standardize millions of messy data points coming from clients
  • Participate in the decision making process and be a key driver of technical and architectural decisions that shape the product and company
  • Build a software that can run complex calculations on it, and check for any suspicious behavior
  • Work in a modern tech stack and learn highly regarded, popular technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant software development or architecting experience
  • Prolific skills in Java and related technologies
  • Prior working experience with low-latency languages like C++
  • Knowledge of containerization skills like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Skilled with Docker, k8s, Spark, gRPC and Kafka
  • Willingness to learn and implement additional back-end technologies, frameworks and languages
  • Must be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills
