Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping users across the world to empower people and bring about the change they want to see in society, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of writing clear and easy-to-understand code with documentation. The company is on a mission to leverage the power of technology to build a better world. The company has managed to securely raise more than $70mn during their Series D round of funding. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Augment the existing engineering team to increase the velocity of product development
Communicate effort, progress, and results with the leadership and respective stakeholders
Adapt to the company's existing engineering processes as appropriate
Optimize application for performance and scale

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Prolific experience working with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
Strong knowledge of Ruby, Elixir, and Ruby on Rails is preferred
Fluent in conversational and written English
