Job description

One of the top US institutes known for its excellent education in terms of medicine and health technology is looking for a Senior Developer. The selected developer will work with the research community to get the details related to script and app creation as well as machine learning. This institute has 25+ academic departments that include nationally and internationally recognized faculty in clinical and basic sciences. This is an excellent opportunity for the developers who have a knack for working in a scientific lab setting environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of software development (design, development, testing, maintenance, support) 
  • Work within the team to design, implement, and manage the products built/configured for the research community and used across the platform
  • Work with the research community to gather information on data pipelining, script and app creation, QA/QC, and machine learning
  • Communicate progress, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders on a daily basis

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in full-stack development
  • Demonstrable experience working in a scientific lab setting
  • Nice to have experience in R, C++, and Python
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
