Job description

A U.S.-based company in the process of establishing a nonprofit medical practice and research group dedicated to integrated healthcare, education, and research initiatives, is looking for a Senior Software Developer. The engineer will be in charge of identifying and fixing technical issues with the application. Through persistent research that leads to early diagnosis and innovative cures, the company is constructing the future for the highest quality of care. The company has managed to secure $385mn+ in funding so far. This position requires 5-6+ hours of overlap with the CST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversee different content guide customization projects in the Adobe Experience Manager system
  • Create products with the end customers in mind, as they will be the ones authorizing what is posted on their websites
  • Assist in personalizing the application, make recommendations for improvements, and identify the safeguards that should be in place to enable doctors to rapidly review information
  • Work with clients to develop comprehensive requirements, then communicate architectural choices to relevant parties


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a senior software engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with (Adobe Experience Manager) AEM Guides and DITA web authoring tool
  • Prior experience customizing workflows for end-users
  • Some understanding of XML 
  • Fluent in conversational and written English communication
