Senior React Engineer

A U.S.-based global consolidated company that is offering fixed-income management that sources investment solutions and ideas, is looking for a Senior React Engineer. The engineer will be working with a cross-functional team to develop an internal chatbot application. In order to achieve clients' goals, the company's investment strategy blends several diverse strategies with long-term fundamental value. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a user-friendly interface for our AI chatbot using Next.js and React. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies 
• Take part in every stage of the software development process while maintaining responsibility for the caliber of your work
• Engage in active participation in code reviews and offer helpful criticism to enhance the quality of the code
• Investigate and fix intricate front-end problems
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Strong knowledge of Next.js and React.
• Experience with websocket
• Experience with data/document searching
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. 
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with back-end is a bonus
• Having worked at a startup before is a bonus
