Job description

An emerging online grocery delivery platform that connects users to local grocery stores, is looking for a Senior Java Engineer. The engineer will work with a team of skilled engineers and will be responsible for building future products for the company. Strong knowledge of Java-based frameworks is required for this position. The company is VC-backed and aims to revolutionize the industry with its fast delivery efforts. This is a good opportunity to work with a rapidly growing AI startup and rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build products using Java-based frameworks
  • Define application objectives, features, and functionality
  • Design, develop and test software applications
  • Write code that can scale and deal with a large number of requests
  • Debug and resolve technical issues
  • Produce detailed design documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7 years of experience in developing applications using Java-based frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Familiarity with Java-based frameworks like Spring Boot, data modeling, and caches
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Fluent in English communication
