Job description

A U.S.-based company that is offering regulatory-compliant infrastructure layer and terminal services along with institutional-grade trading solutions, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. The selected candidate will collaborate with company stakeholders to design, build, and operate new infrastructure, as well as fortify the existing products. The company is on a mission to simplify investing by curating a safe and secure selection of DeFi protocol, providing access to dozens of exchanges, and various pools across multiple blockchain networks all in one place. The selected candidate would be expected to provide a 6+ hour overlap with Eastern Time.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product engineers to establish company goals
  • Design, build, and operate products and features that support fast-moving and fast-changing business infrastructures
  • Use a data-driven approach to add new infrastructures (both- off-the-shelf and built in-house)
  • Architect highly scalable, reliable, and distributed real-time systems 
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the monitoring of services such as- logging, dashboards, and alerts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
  • Proficiency with Cloud, Azure, or AWS
  • Strong understanding of Go and Node.js
  • Familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform and previous experience with building and/or operating production systems in Google
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
  • In-depth knowledge of container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience building and/or operating observability systems at scale
  • Ability to demonstrate technical initiative 
  • Passion for building, operating, and debugging distributed systems at scale
  • Accountability, curiosity, and ability to perform autonomously
  • Strong sense of leadership and desire to mentor other engineers
  • Great English communication skills, both written and verbal
