Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is unifying data and enabling users to avoid unnecessary labs or procedure expenses by bridging the gap between the medical and insurance data archive is looking for a Senior Golang Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with maintaining the production environment, making it scalable and highly available. The US-based company's advanced technology enables users to automatically unify health information from several areas in a single place to understand the next steps. During their Seed round, the company has securely raised $8.5mn+ in funding. This role requires some overlap with the IST/PST/EST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing back-end services based on industry standards
  • Work as the team lead to create a structured, testable, and scalable codebase
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver new features and products
  • Promote state-of-the-art technology trends, standards, frameworks, and tooling in the ecosystem
  • Use Git to promote agile practices and maintain the company’s CI/CD pipeline
  • Assist the team in building company vision and long-term company objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in Healthcare Data Management and ETL
  • At least 6+ years-experience in Golang and Golang-based AWS microservices is required 
  • Demonstrable experience in the development of RESTful framework
  • Proven experience with Golang idiomatic application development and toolchain
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in AWS Service Stack (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, etc.)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
