Job description

A US-based company developing a free, open-source, client-side tool that enables businesses to easily and securely interact with the Ethereum blockchain, is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be working in an agile, startup environment as a project developer. The company is developing an open-source platform that will allow users to create wallets, engage with smart contracts, and more. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create user interfaces for web-based applications and tools
  • Maintain strong development standards, particularly when it comes to code quality, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration and deployment
  • Create a proof-of-concept prototype and incorporate it into a working prototype
  • Optimize the app for maximum speed and scalability
  • Design and deploy new product features in collaboration with engineers, designers, and product managers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • VUE.js AND Vuetify experience is a must
  • Expertise with HTML, CSS, Typescript and JavaScript, Node.js, Git, and Sass
  • Understanding of REST API design and experience with GraphQL is nice to have
  • Design of front-end systems at scale is nice to have 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes
  • Eye for design and attention to detail
  • Driven decision-maker, excellent problem solver, and fast learner
