Senior Front-End Engineer

A US-based company building a next-gen product to give Pre-sales teams the tools they need to satisfy client expectations is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating closely with other front-end and back-end engineers to deliver best-in-class enterprise software. The company helps teams to run AI-powered analytics like a business and drive product-field alignment between technology, customers, and sales. The company has secured funding worth more than $55mn during its Series B round. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST/CST/EST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Single Page Application design and development
• Ensure a scalable, flexible, and performant app architecture
• Implement strategies that work to achieve company goals
• Advocate for technical design considerations during product development
• Present informed opinions on strategy clearly to multiple teams and areas of expertise
• Work closely with security to maintain a best-in-class security posture
• Mentor peers on best practices

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Demonstrable experience with Typescript, CSS, HTML, and GraphQL
• Extensive experience with Application Architecture, Asynchronous, Object-Oriented, and Functional Programming
• Demonstrable experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• In-depth knowledge of Responsive/Adaptive Design, Progressive Enhancement
• Prolific knowledge of HTTP, WebSockets, browsers, web APIs, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (WCAG, ARIA)
• Knowledge of Single Page Application design and development using React, React Native, and GraphQL (Apollo/Hasura)
• Solid understanding of Web browser and networking security
• Competency in moving fast, adapting, and thriving in a dynamic startup environment
