Job description

A fast-growing company determined to support the future of utility retail, and customer engagement is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of tuning the app services and app service plans for better performance. The company is designing, building, and operating the next generation of technology services to help reach their goal of revolutionizing the energy industry. Job Responsibilities:

  • Create automation scripting and orchestration toolkits, such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Use git to version control scripts and programs
  • In Azure Devops, create CI/CD pipelines with YAML/bicep
  • Existing CI/CD pipelines should be refactored and aligned with best practices
  • Standardize the way that is currently in use to gain more pp insights.
  • Assist more junior DevOps engineers with their work
  • Develop CI/CD tools using APIs such as MS Graph API, SendGrid, and Twilio
  • To create a knowledge base and manage tickets, use Jira/Confluence or comparable tools
  • To utilize and troubleshoot APIs, use Postman, SOAP UI, XMLSpy, reading XML, and JSON
  • Senior employees or the line manager should be followed and responded to

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps and Azure
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud SQL
  • At least 2+ years of experience working with API Integration, PowerShell Scripting, API Design, and Progressive Web Application (PWA) is desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of Cloud Computing and available IaaS or PaaS services
  • Experience working with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM Templates
  • Demonstrable Azure experience with Functions, Webapps, API management, and Log Analytics
  • Solid understanding and experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Storage account, and Azure SQL
  • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
  • Prolific general IT skills, networking, server admin
