Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has built a reputation for itself in the food and beverage industry across the world is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be working with a cross-functional team on greenfield automation, orchestration, staging, and deployment. The multinational company has manufactured and distributed a wide range of products that has successfully established itself as a household name. This position requires 4-6+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and help to create the full CI/CD pipeline from scratch 
  • Design and management of cloud system architectures that ensure high availability, top performance, and dependability while taking part in ongoing operations and upgrades
  • Support incident and problem management to find the source of the issue, address it, and put in place solutions to prevent it from happening again
  • Aid the organization's current efforts of expanding their current Azure-centered cloud structure to harbor a new Java Spring Boot and Flutter-based mobile Consumer Engagement platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience working with DevOps
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of Docker, Git, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana is desirable
  • Prior hands.on experience building brand-new deployment and staging environments 
  • Solid experience developing CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
