Job description

A rapidly-growing company building an efficient brokerage platform that enables people to trade options easily, is looking for a React Native Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with a team of industry experts and software engineers to develop tailored products for customers. The US-based company is on a mission to turn great ideas into profitable brokerage and stock options. They have managed to successfully raise $4mn+ during the Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to create a sophisticated trading application from the ground up
  • Transform designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Implement front-end architecture for real-time data delivery
  • Ensure the best authentication and authorization practices are used in mobile applications
  • Create effective development and testing environments for rapid development and quality assurance testing
  • Create benchmarking, performance metrics, and optimization models
  • Assist the team with app store submission, setup, and feedback responses

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 4+ years of experience with React Native and Typescript is a must
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles is required
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs is a must
  • Capability to manage scenarios as a result of complex states
  • Knowledge of unit testing planning and implementation 
  • Experience with successfully submitting applications to the iOS and Android stores
  • Mobile app authentication and authorization
  • Experience with launching a Fintech application to App stores is a bonus
  • Experience with developing charts/complex visualizations is nice to have
  • Familiarity with OKTA identity management or Charting / Graphing is a plus
  • Prior stock, crypto, or options trading experience is nice to have
  • Familiarity with back-end development is a plus
  • Native mobile development experience with Swift and Java is preferred
