Job description

A US-based company pioneering the sales and marketing automation category for small businesses through their innovative technology is looking for a React Native Engineer. The developer will take charge of ensuring projects are performed and recorded in accordance with specifications and schedules. The company connects organizations to the proper technology, tools, and people by combining sales, payments, marketing automation, and CRM in one platform. Job Responsibilities:

  • Discover new/inventive techniques and keep up with online trends and best development practices
  • Guide, mentor, and share personal technical skills with teams and departments
  • Ensure the delivery and development of valuable software to generate useful insights and immediate impact
  • Deliver high-quality code with high coverage, low complexity, and a low defect rate
  • Using current best practices, create clear, semantic markup
  • Use adaptive layouts on a variety of devices and form factors
  • Work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers to achieve set goals
  • Set up and maintain a working development environment that involves Android & iOS simulators 
  • Develop an app based on the iOS and Android simulators

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Experience developing with React Native and JavaScript
  • Testing frameworks proficiency (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.)
  • Competent skills in Cloud, Node.js, GraphQL, REST, CI/CD (CircleCI), Product Engineering, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Track record of developing and deploying applications to the Apple and Play Store 
  • Working experience with Git/GitHub, JIRA, mobile continuous integration, and delivery platforms
  • Experience developing under Agile, SCRUM, or similar iterative processes
  • Experience with iOS or Android development (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin) is nice to have
  • Previous experience working at a fast-growth company or in an entrepreneurial environment is nice to have
  • Well-organized GitHub/Stackoverflow profile demonstrating continuous open source or project contributions
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience with DevOps
