Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing a next-gen suite of B2B commerce products that will transform the technology industry, is looking for a PHP Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop software design and architecture. With the use of the company's cutting-edge software, businesses will be able to effectively analyze massive volumes of data and enable real-time, data-driven invoice financing. Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of requirements analysis and partake enthusiastically
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Deploy and test systems and applications 
  • Debug, revise, and update codes
  • Enhance the existing software and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks
  • Maintain documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) 
  • Provide technical support and serve as an expert on applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a PHP Engineer
  • Experience (2+ years) in design and/or development of PHP / Laravel / Vue.js / MySQL would be considered an advantage
  • Understanding of AI and ML concepts
  • Proficiency with Object-oriented development, Design patterns, and best practices 
  • Prior experience in concurrent development source control (Git)  
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
  • A strong passion for technology and a curious mind
  • Great English communication skills, both verbal and written
