A leading technology company specializing in buying and selling accessories from renowned fashion brands is looking for a PHP Developer. The developer will design, develop and operate services and applications that facilitate the internal systems. The company operates as a unique apparel brand to provide access to the world's most coveted brands by dissolving the walls of traditional luxury. The candidate will help advance efforts in giving offers and authenticating items to provide customers and employees with better experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, and operating services and applications for operating internal systems
Help advance our efforts to give offers and authenticate items and give customers and employees better experiences
Help to create secure and scalable APIs for CRUD interfaces and user-facing apps using Oauth, JWT, and similar authentication techniques
Plan and build out service-oriented applications
Move existing monolithic applications into smaller and more efficient components
Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic landscape
Willing to collaborate and perform peer code reviews

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5years of relevant experience as a PHP developer
Professional experience of working with Laravel framework ecosystem
Strong Computer Science fundamentals
Be conversant with system architecture, object-oriented programming, and system design
Must have at least 2 years of experience in working with JavaScript frameworks like VueJS
Must be able to build cloud-based, distributed, resilient systems while handling large and variable traffic volumes
Must be able to utilize technologies like SQL and NoSQL databases
Thorough understanding of essential web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/JSON
Experience in working with Lambda and Serverless framework
Well-versed in working on CI/CD processes using GitHub or Jenkins
Knowledge of Node.js or Python development will be helpful
Experience in working with Indexes like Elasticsearch, Sphinx, and Solr will be beneficial
Familiarity with async message queue with Kafka\SQS\RabbitMQ is preferred
Understanding Docker will be advantageous
Must have a thorough knowledge of AWS Services
Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies and best practices is desirable
Excellent communication skills and the ability to have fun in a small team environment
