Job description

A fast-emerging voice-only dating app based on avatars is looking to hire a Mobile Swift Engineer. The engineer will utilize vast iOS experience in Swift to improve the existing product, perform optimizations, maintenance, and build new features. The company is growing rapidly and looking to expand into the U.S. market. This will be a full-time, long-term opportunity requiring an overlap with the Central Europe time zone.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team and stakeholders to produce quality products
  • Develop new features, maintain existing code, and fix bugs
  • Contribute to the overall system design 
  • Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and be able to articulate use cases for existing and new projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile Swift programmer
  • Must be well versed with the entire iOS stack
  • Expertise in Swift development is essential
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of MVVM architecture
  • Understanding of custom API client implementations
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Solid understanding of full Swagger documentation for each endpoint
  • Knowledge of PHP Symfony framework with MySQL database
