Job description

A U.S.-based company developing an innovative science-backed platform that provides music for anxiety relief is looking for a Lead Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be utilizing the best software engineering practices to build a scalable platform. The company is delivering calming music by grammy-winning producers to help users with their anxiety. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who enjoy working with a world-class team of professionals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and implement them in programming frameworks
  • Take charge of your own code and suggest necessary improvements 
  • Drive architecture, design, and code quality in alignment with the team's vision
  • Work closely with the engineering team in all aspects of software development

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer 
  • Extensive experience in Python and SQL
  • Prolific experience in distributed systems
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
