Job description

A US-based company that is building an innovative social media and dating app to help couples maintain and improve their relationships, is looking for a Lead Back-End Engineer. The developer will help the existing team to run the back-end for a live mobile application. The company allows users to easily engage more with their partners and help them to build lasting and healthy relationships. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software
  • Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Define application objectives, features, and functionality 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Node.js, GraphQL, and Kubernetes
  • Nice to have some knowledge of PostgreSQL and AWS DevOps
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
