Job description

A well-funded tech startup building a product to enable developers with the world's first easy-to-use composable APIs is looking for a Lead Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working with cutting-edge technology and must have a real-world approach to ethics, compliance, privacy, and security. The company is helping users to build their cross-platform and chain NFT applications with low gas fees and high scalability. This will be a great opportunity for developers who enjoy working in an ambiguous startup environment. This role requires 3+ hours overlap with the SST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of developing performant, scalable, intuitive, and available back-end infrastructure
  • Lead development processes like site architecture, feature components, development process, SDLC tools, and system design
  • Understand project requirements and use technical designs to write well-structured, clean, upgradeable, and robust codes
  • Keep building knowledge of new approaches and methodologies to improve the existing architecture, user experience, and the overall development process
  • Perform code reviews, be open to receiving feedback and share your knowledge with other team members
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to implement recommended growth strategies
  • Troubleshoot errors and bottlenecks and implement effective solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in back-end development
  • Knowledge of working with languages like Golang is mandatory
  • Thorough knowledge of Web3 is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM will be an added advantage
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams
  • Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment
  • Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
