A rapidly-growing platform transforming how the world consumes information is looking for a JavaScript Engineer. The engineer will join the existing Web & Chrome team to support the growing user base and build new, exciting features. The company is on the lookout for strategically thinking candidates who enjoy high-paced environments and are passionate about owning product decisions. Job Responsibilities:

  • Vigorously ship production code to the Chrome extension and web products
  • Work closely with the devoted product team
  • Partake in product conversations to shape the product roadmap
  • Work on new and exciting features that will impact millions of lives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Must be proficient in JavaScript, Typescript, and React
  • Experience building and scaling complex engineering systems
  • Track record of building and shipping products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users
  • Passionate about the field and have the desire to build a high-quality product that serves customer needs
  • Ability to work quickly to generate ideas 
  • Knowledge of how to decide the priority of what to ship
  • Capable of inspiring, relating, and negotiating with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs
  • Core competency in VanillaJS, Redux, RxJS, and Firebase
