Job description

A cloud-based order management and fulfillment software application that assists businesses in increasing revenue, improving service standards, and reducing operating expenses is looking for a JavaScript Developer. The developer will be required to wear numerous hats when it comes to Omni-channel fulfillment design and development. The company's cutting-edge technology enables businesses to scale their supply chains with ease at every step of production. They have managed to raise $45 mn+ in funding so far. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the EST/PST time zone. It is a great opportunity for developers to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment where their work will be noticed and appreciated.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build quality mission-critical web applications in a SaaS environment utilizing Java technologies
  • Build and design top user-oriented features, bulk data processing, integration, messaging, etc.
  • Play an active role in key development activities, including the back-end development of business logic, mobile and front-end web development 
  • Take charge of workflows and data processing
  • Collaborate with other team members from development, product management, and implementation teams to design and plan the delivery of software solution features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing Java web applications
  • Software development experience using Spring and Hibernate
  • Prolific working experience with JavaScript, Angular, and SQL (SOAP, RESTful)
  • Familiarity with SQL for business logic and reporting queries
  • Proficiency with Object-Oriented design and implementation methodologies
  • Good understanding of design patterns, and multi-threaded client/server architectures
  • Advanced experience with Java web applications, with web development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular JS, XML, and JSON
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
