Job description

A U.S.-based teaching and research university that provides graduate programs in law, medicine, education, and business is looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer. The selected candidate will be working in close collaboration with the engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications. The organization has established world-class schools that specialize in arts and athletics, along with research institutes. The organization has managed to secure more than $4.8 mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze satellite imagery to make it useful for farmers
  • Regularly research, prototype, and advice on new front-end technologies and trends 
  • Develop the design system to be used efficiently by multiple teams
  • Create test cases for cross-browser testing and contribute to the QA engineering process

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Extensive experience in Django, Python, and PostGIS
  • Prolific experience in GIS packages OSGO and GIS
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
