Job description

A tech-enabled platform that brings insight and operational excellence to the world of philanthropy is looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer. The selected candidate will be working directly with the CEO and shipping code daily while strategizing on the product with the team. The company is providing an intuitive platform for donations management that customizes and automates the donor’s portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for developers to contribute their skills to a relevant cause and make a real impact in the world. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and collaborate with peers in web-development
  • Think through all aspects of a product, from the database to the user experience
  • Improve the software development and deploy processes
  • Work with AWS to deploy the application and manage the security and databases
  • Be excited about creating something new while also perfecting something that already exists
  • Move quickly to test ideas and hypotheses, and iterate to find the right long-term solution

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Extensive experience with PHP, JavaScript/Bootstrap, and MySQL
  • Solid CSS and AWS experience
  • Work with asynchronous platforms like Zoom, Slack, Google Hangouts, and other calling platforms to integrate the technology
  • Prior experience architecting and building new systems end-to-end
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and take concepts to execution
