Job description

A fast-growing startup that offers off-grid powered electricity to rural and remote areas is looking for a Full-stack Web Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing and building the EASI mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. As a developer, you’ll also be working on integrating data from various back-end services and databases. The company is revolutionizing the market by providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy by leveraging modular microgrid systems and is providing power to over 4,000 individuals and businesses. This is a unique opportunity for candidates to showcase their skills by working with a rapidly growing startup. This is a full-time position that requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
Management and continual development of the Energy Audit and System Integration (EASI) Web application platform
Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications
Designing and building the EASI mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
Fixing application bugs before the final release
Contribute to the functionality and overall visual design of the energy audit optimization application platform

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field major
In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, PHP, and Javascript
Strong knowledge of Ajax, MySQL, and Apache
Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++
Excellent coding and proofreading skills
Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
Experience in creating and implementing UI design is a plus
Basic knowledge of AWS or Cloud certifications
