Job description

A rapidly-growing platform that allows users to rent boats and bridge the gap between the boating world is looking for a Front-End Web Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of working on multiple user-facing products and features. The company provides the largest marketplace for users to avail a unique boating experience in 600+ locations. This will be a full-time position that requires 6+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a variety of user-facing features and search landing pages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Build scalable, readable, and well-documented stacks 
  • Enhance the overall user experience through robust front-end applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Extensive experience with React
  • Prolific knowledge of UI/UX Design and related technologies
  • Familiarity with Next.js and Ruby is nice to have 
  • Prior experience with tracking analytics and data instrumentation on the front-end is desirable
  • Experience with the full SDLC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
