Job description

A well-established firm that has managed to build an API development platform that uses mutual cooperation is looking for a Front-End Web Developer. The selected candidate will be developing products that will help make the lives of API developers and consumers easier. The company is constantly working to provide users with best-in-class services by implementing cutting-edge web technologies to build additional features, improve the performance, accessibility, reliability of existing features, and streamline the development process. During their Series D round, the company managed to gather $400 mn+ in funding. This job offers an excellent opportunity for developers to gain some hands-on experience while expanding their skills set.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with cross-functional teams to create and own components, libraries, and frameworks
Improve the performance and quality of the products by implementing and maintaining features
Write testable, maintainable code that’s easy to understand
Deliver new features, spec, construct, and test in collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
Improve the quality and consistency of existing tests and create new ones
Bifurcate complex problems into smaller executable tasks

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience building web applications
Working experience with JavaScript, React, and Node.js
Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Experience working in remote-first teams is nice to have
Prior experience building successful open source projects is desirable
Nice to have some experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
Experience in improving web performance, security, and reliability for large scale single-page applications is preferred
Experience contributing to open-source front-end frameworks such as React.js and Angular.js, or building toolings such as Webpack, Babel, and Browserify is nice to have
