Elixir Developer

An emerging, US-based hiring solution provider is looking for an experienced Elixir Developer to join their fast-growing team. The developer will be working with the VP of Engineering and other Elixir developers to scale the existing application. The company connects businesses and residential users looking for labor with local workers via their apps that serve industries including construction, manufacturing, food service, delivery services, transportation, retail, customer service, and professional services. This is an exciting, long-term opportunity for developers to polish their skills while building innovative solutions and rising quickly through the ranks of a startup. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Write clean, reliable, and highly maintainable code
• Take charge of implementing Elixir related tasks
• Identify and troubleshoot end-to-end problems
• Suggest new improvements to help the team make innovative choices
• Support development of new features

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an Elixir engineer
• Strong sense of ownership and a dislike for passing the buck
• Team player and ability to solve problems efficiently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, both written and conversational
