Job description

A fast-growing company that has dedicated its platform to help make computer science education fun and accessible is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will work on the infrastructure and DevOps-related projects such as improving CI, setting up testing or staging environments, and implementing new AWS tools into workflows. The company focuses on delivering a positive social impact and offering support for teachers, students, and schools, with the help of a dedicated team and excellent tutors. This will be a full-time position that requires at least 5 hours overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to infrastructure and DevOps related 
  • Work on improving CI and assist in setting up testing or staging environments
  • Implement new AWS tools into workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce quality products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Should be able to build solutions using AWS
  • Solid understanding of Python development and best practices
  • Understanding of modern technologies like Docker is essential
  • Must be able to work with resources like GitHub
  • Ability to work with SQL will be helpful
  • Familiarity with Memcached is preferred
