Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has built an all-in-one POS system designed specifically to make restaurant administration easier and more efficient, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be helping the existing team to migrate the product from the GCP cloud to AWS. The management ecosystem can be used to streamline restaurant operations, boost customer satisfaction, cut expenses, and engage with the community. The company has managed to raise funding worth $4mn+ so far. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the IST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup the cloud infrastructure on the AWS side
  • Create a separate workload for development, staging, production
  • Setup monitoring services to check servers and service load
  • Create scalable cloud architecture while keeping cost optimization, security, and scalability as the top priority

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, and CI/CD 
  • Prior experience in deployment of microservices on the AWS cloud
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and Cloud infrastructure setup is nice to have
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
