Job description

A US-based company on a mission to revolutionize the healthcare industry with their continuous health monitoring and clinical intelligence solutions for Remote Patient Monitoring is looking for a Cloud Engineer. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the team and will be in charge of ensuring the application conforms to user specifications. The company is determined to make it simple and cost-effective for patients to receive continuous care from hospital to home. During their Series B round, the company raised more than $80mn in funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • work with the rapidly expanding Cloud Engineering Team as a key member
  • To define and execute the product strategy, collaborate with the product management leadership team
  • Create, deploy, and manage large-scale cloud applications
  • Improve the system's performance, reliability, scalability, and security
  • As new engineers join the team and advance in their careers, assist in their onboarding and mentoring
  • Work on challenging and interesting tech problems that will shape the future of healthcare
  • Get the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and with world-class tooling
  • Make a significant contribution to the company through business deliverables and continuous innovation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working with backend and low-latency big data tech stacks is required
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture, event-driven systems, REST API, and unit testing is required
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL data systems like Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, and Kafka is required
  • Experience with the full SDLC on an exclusive public cloud service provider like GCP, Azure, and AWS
  • Adaptability, resilience, and being able to thrive in ambiguity
