Job description

A U.S.-based company that is rapidly becoming the market leader in hardened enterprise-class data security solutions is looking for a C++ Software Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team of talented professionals to enhance the organization’s suite of cryptographic devices. The company’s modern cutting-edge technology enables users to safeguard the world’s most sensitive data. Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and troubleshoot applications that interface with the company’s line of embedded cryptographic devices
  • Build and document APIs and protocols used when interfacing with external systems
  • Read and comply with published standards and technical documentation
  • Assess and improve the engineering processes to increase team effectiveness

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in C++ and Linux 
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience working in enterprise software development
  • Prior experience using C++ 11 memory management (ownership, rvalues)
  • Experience using classic C++ 98 memory management
  • Demonstrable experience performing peer code reviews 
  • Ability to read and write Python and Bash scripts
  • Nice to have experience reading and writing C code
  • Knowledge of cryptographic concepts
  • Experience with TLS and PKI certificates is a plus 
  • Experience using Docker and Docker-compose is preferred 
  • Experience using Jenkins and Jenkinsfiles for CI/CD
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience in Nginx, Flask, and Vue.js
  • Experience using enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
  • Experience using Berkeley socket API
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
