Job description

A US-based company that is helping customers to make informed online investment, is looking for a Back-end Engineer. The engineer will join an agile and fast-paced team and will be responsible for optimizing the company’s platform for seamless execution and solving scalability issues. The company has managed to build a consumer facing tech app making it easier for customers to trade, send, and earn on Stocks and Crypto. This is a great opportunity for developers to work with a versatile team and contribute to a variety of challenging tasks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and scale the features of APIs and services that power the mobile app
  • Move quickly and engineer testable systems
  • Must develop high-quality, reliable production systems at scale
  • Write really high quality, clean, testable, and maintainable code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience as a back-end engineer
  • Proficiency with Ruby/Python
  • Prior experience with MongoDB and websockets is preferred
  • Experience working with third-party REST APIs and writing API client/adapter code is nice to have
  • Nice to have prior fintech experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English
